The DIABETES ASSOCIATION (Brooks & District) was incorporated under the Societies Act in March 1993, to meet the needs of persons with diabetes through service, education, advocacy and to support research efforts to lead to discoveries to combat diabetes for all Canadians.

The DIABETES ASSOCIATION (Brooks & District) in an independent, self-financing, non-government, not-for-profit charitable organization, whose mission is “to provide local supplementary health care services toward the prevention of diabetes through public education”.
