The
DIABETES ASSOCIATION (Brooks & District) is
more then just a single purpose organization.
People with diabetes and their families see us
as a valuable and accessible resource. The
general public are becoming better health care
consumers and are becoming more aware of the
risk factors for diabetes, the signs and
symptoms. The Diabetes Association (Brooks &
District) is noted and recognized for its
innovations and initiatives.
The
DIABETES ASSOCIATION (Brooks & District) is
proud to grant monies to research projects in
Alberta annually.
The
DIABETES ASSOCIATION (Brooks & District) is
a member of the Brooks & District Chamber of
Commerce since 1995 and is a member of the
Better Business Bureau of Southern Alberta since
1998.
“KEEPING HOPE ALIVE”
All
net proceeds from fund raising and special
events will go to benefit local service and
education programs at the DIABETES ASSOCIATION
(Brooks & District); all donated monies go to
support diabetes research projects for all
Canadians.
The
DIABETES ASSOCIATION (Brooks & District)
approaches the future with confidence and
anticipates a strengthened partnership of
volunteers and health care professionals in the
communities of Brooks and area, to continue our
record of excellence.
Diabetes is
a ‘global disease’ that has reached epidemic
status, and as yet there is no cure.
The
DIABETES ASSOCIATION (Brooks & District) is
“Keeping Hope Alive” in our community and for
all Canadians, that a cure for diabetes may soon
be found.
